NEW PROJECTS!

SCAN Childrens Christmas Party - 26th November 2008

We are urgently looking for volunteers to plan, organise and run this years SCAN Christmas Party.  Each year SCAN holds a children's Christmas party for disadvantaged children around Newcastle.  The children come from the very diverse projects we work with and this year we would like to hold a big party in the Union Society Basement for as many of these children as possible.

We are looking for volunteers to take a lead on this project.  This will include such things as fund raising (for food, sweets, prizes, small gifts etc), requesting donations from local businessess/shops, planning the entertainment, organising decorations and games and many other tasks.

We will also need other volunteers nearer the time to help organise games, set up the room and bouncy castle, help to supervise the children and so on........

If you would like to help and have a fun and rewarding time then come into the SCAN office and sign up.   Lets make this out biggest and best party so far!
